60 min Virtual Author Visit with Tasha Haight

While my books are perfect for elementary students, author visits can be conducted for all grade levels and are customized to fit educational recommendations for that grade. Presentations can include the writing process - why I write the books, how I write the books, the research process, and the editing and publishing process. Shorter sessions for younger students focus on the content of the book. Both presentations are done with interactive visual aids and conclude with time for questions and answers.
Students will discover how the skills they’re learning (writing, research, editing) apply to real life by hearing from a published author. They’ll also determine the importance of environmental education and how they can inspire others to make a difference. Virtual author visits typically last 45-60 minutes.
