We’re holding our annual Neurodiverse Kidlit Retreat at Highlights Foundation Retreat Center from July 3-6, 2025.

There’s nothing more magical than sharing space with others just like you. Others who know what it’s like to be different. Join like-minded children’s authors for a peaceful retreat in the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania.

Enjoy in-community time, ample retreat time, guided writing & illustrating time, as well as a few sessions chosen by participants. You can expect things like how to communicate effectively with publishing professionals, and tips and tools to support your writing & illustrating.
